Stone #9 is a small speckled green stone, again from Gemstone Beach. It has tumble-polished well, being quite smooth.
The lighter areas nicely highlight the green. The stone has a sense of horizontal linear features running across it, adding to its interest.
I am currently preparing a Post on green coloured stones in the Series “Gemstone Beach and its Stones: An Introduction for the Passing Motorist”, but that may take a few more weeks to complete due to other matters commanding my time at present.
Go to Stone of the Day #10.
Go to the first Post in this Series. Go to the Series Index.
