In September (and the first couple of days of October) I drove from my home in Whanganui down to Riverton, a journey of about 1150 kms. I crossed Cook Strait by ferry from Wellington to Picton on Monday 2 September, catching a return ferry on my way back north on Thursday 3 October. As usual, I documented the beaches I visited and the stones I collected for tumble polishing. In this Index, you can click on a link to be taken to the relevant Post.
