Stone #6 is a complex green stone, maybe a quartzite with epidote in it. It is more round (less flat) than previous Stones of the Day and so there are more reflections preventing a clearer image on a number of parts of the stone.
There are many tiny veins in the stone, most of them green, and some patches of white quartz of various sizes. It feels very smooth to the touch though the close-up images suggest a couple of very fine scratches.
Go to Stone of the Day #7.
Go to start of the Stone of the Day Series for November.
