November 2023 Polished Stones: Stone of the Day #7

This is another recently tumble-polished Gemstone Beach stone collected during my “Southern Sojourn” at the start of this year – it is the ninth stone featured in “Southern Sojourn 2023(8): Big and Small from Gemstone Beach, Friday 3 February”. It is an unusual hue of dark red, with some white quartz showing.

A small stone, it is only three centimetres at its widest. It is very smooth.

Side A of this stone actually features in Version #2 of the 2024 Tumblestone Calendar. There, the image is of the rough stone, rotated somewhat (with the quartz in the corner being at the top).
