I first fossicked for beach stones on a Slope Point beach in March 2021. I have made a number of other visits since, usually four or five per year. I have fossicked on either Black Point Beach or Bach Beach. The following are most of the Posts on TumbleStone Blog describing these visits and some of my finds, listed in chronological order:

- “February-March 2022 Fossicking Trip: Stone of the Day #6, Unknown Grey Slope Point Stone” – A two hour fossick at Bach Beach, with five stones featured.
- “February-March 2022 Fossicking Trip: Stone of the Day #9, Small Brecciated(?) Slope Point Stone”– A fossick at Black Point Beach, including an encounter with a sea lion; features 11 finds, one of which is a fossil fern stone found by Oliver.
- “February-March 2022 Fossicking Trip: Stone of the Day #12, A Slope Point Rhyolite” – With Mary, a Slope Point local, on a rainy day at Black Point. Shows nine finds.
- “February-March 2022 Fossicking Trip: Stone of the Day #16, Another Slope Point Rhyolite” – With Oliver at Black Point, sand had moved off the beach exposing lots of large stones. Includes 12 finds.
- “June-July 2022 Fossicking Trip: 16) Slope Point” – At Black Point with Oliver. A range of finds shown, including a small poppy jasper and some petrified wood. Photos of some of Oliver’s previous finds included.
- “Southern Sojourn 2023(5): Slope Point, Two Visits, Monday & Tuesday 23 & 24 January” – Visits to both beaches with Oliver and Tracey. Photos of 17 finds shown, including brown petrified wood stone with agate.
- “Southern Sojourn 2023(30): Journeying to a Slope Point Beach, Monday 27 March” – Includes directions for getting to Bach Beach. A three hour fossick, one of the 12 featured finds being a chrysanthemum rhyolite.
- “Southern Sojourn 2023(45): Fine Autumn Fossick, Black Point Beach, Slope Point, Saturday 15 April” – With Oliver. One of the 15 featured finds may be a joon agate, also a nice petrified wood stone.
- “Southern Sojourn 2023(50): An Orbicular Rhyolite and A Large Piece of Petrified Wood, A Return to Slope Point, Saturday 22 April” – Photos of 11 Bach Beach finds, including the largest piece of petrified wood I have collected , 2.5 kilograms weight.
- “Early 2024 Fossicking Trip – Part 16, A Sunny Slope Point Fossick, Saturday 2 March” – Two hour fossick at Bach Beach with Chrissy, 12 finds featured.
