In mid-January 2023, I gained access to an accommodation base in Riverton Aparima in Southland for a few weeks, possibly a few months. I crossed Cook Strait by ferry on Tuesday 17 January 2023 to begin this Southern Sojourn. I ended it when I got a ferry back north on Friday 5 May.
